The School and Role

We are seeking a full-time 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 child with autism in a mainstream classroom. The pupil is working at a Year 2 level and requires consistent adult support to stay engaged and make progress. Experience with SEN, particularly autism, is preferred. The school offers an inclusive, supportive environment, and this role provides a rewarding opportunity to help a child develop confidence, independence, and achieve their potential.

Requirements

The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have;

-       Experience of working with primary school aged children

-       Experience of working with pupils with SEND

-       A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-       An ability to work as part of a team

-          Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification
