Position: Stores OperativeHourly Rate: £13 - £14Working Pattern: Full Time
What You'll Do:
As a Stores Operative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Stock Control: Manage stock levels to ensure availability and prevent stockouts.
- Goods Inwards: Receive, check, and document incoming stock efficiently.
- Picking and Packing: Collect and pack orders for dispatch with precision. ??
- Warehouse Operations: Assist with unloading vehicles and storing goods to maintain an organised workspace. ??
- Computer Systems: utilise SAP and other inventory management systems to keep track of stock and process orders. ??
- Communication: Liaise with various departments to anticipate needs and ensure timely restock. ??
- Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures to keep the workplace safe. ??
What We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Attention to Detail: Essential for accurate stock management and order processing.
- organisation Skills: Ability to organise work, manage time, and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and customers.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
- Computer Literacy: Familiarity with basic computer skills, especially in inventory management systems.
- FLT licence: A valid forklift truck licence is a plus!
