About the Restaurant

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join the brigade of an outstanding French fine dining restaurant based in Surbiton. Renowned for its refined cuisine, elegant presentation, and welcoming atmosphere, the restaurant has built a strong reputation within the local community and beyond. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a professional kitchen where creativity, consistency, and passion for gastronomy are at the heart of everything.

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you will take responsibility for your section and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen. Youll work closely with a talented Head Chef and Sous Chef, producing beautifully presented dishes with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in line with the restaurants standards.

  • Maintain consistency and attention to detail across all sections.

  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in menu development and daily preparation.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.

  • Train and support junior kitchen team members when required.

  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and professional kitchen culture.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie within a quality or fine dining environment.

  • A genuine passion for French cuisine and classic techniques.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining high standards.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
