Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician-electrical bias to work for a leading Specialised Industrial Service Provider based in KT6.
ROLE: Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician-electrical bias
PAY RATE: 25.00 Umbrella
JOB TYPE: Fixed term contract
LOCATION: London, (KT6)
HOURS: 37.5 hours/ week
THE ROLE:
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
- Perform electrical maintenance, testing, and minor repairs (lighting, sockets, RCD checks).
- Complete PPM tasks like water temperature checks, fire alarm tests, and outlet flushing.
- Handle basic plumbing and fabric repairs (taps, drainage, fixtures, fittings).
- Support compliance activities such as fire door inspections and Legionella control.
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records and stock levels using digital maintenance systems.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance and keep plant rooms clean and organised.
- Participate in the on-call rota and collaborate effectively with the maintenance team.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance or facilities role.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in electrical or relevant trade.
- Good understanding of electrical and basic mechanical systems.
- Computer literate with strong organisational and communication skills.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team, managing tasks under pressure.
- Physically fit, with a full UK driving licence and willingness to complete a DBS check.
