PA to Headteacher

3–4-month fixed term contract leading to a permanent role

Our client, a prestigious education institution in the west surrey area is currently looking for a PA to Headteacher to join them on FTC basis

Key Responsibilities

  • This role would suit a candidate who enjoys a varied PA role. .
  • The purpose of the role is to provide PA support to the Head and for members of the school leadership team as and when required. This may also include some holiday cover for individual members of the leadership team as and when required. This will include taking minutes of meetings.
  • To provide support to the Head and provide administrative support across the following areas: Governance, Compliance, HR, Attendance and Admissions.

Person Specification

  • Professional and friendly demeanor
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Can demonstrate and has proven experience of dealing with sensitive situations with integrity, tact and diplomacy
  • Flexibility, enthusiasm and commitment
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Excellent IT skills - Excel, MS Word
  • Minute taking skills and experience using MS Word
  • Well developed organisational skills, able to multitask, meet deadlines and plan/prepare ahead
  • Ability to write, proofread effectively and draft communications for others
  • Substantial administrative experience, including diary management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate well to a diverse range of people
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Relationship-building skills, to work with others and to convert initial enquiries into successful enrolments
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Portable Enhanced DBS desirable
