Reeson Education are currently recruiting a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work within a supportive SEN school in Surbiton. This role is ideal for a compassionate Learning Support Assistant who is motivated by making a real difference to pupils with additional needs. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of SEN including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. The successful Learning Support Assistant will work closely with teachers and specialist staff to ensure pupils feel safe, understood, and supported throughout the school day.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups as a Learning Support Assistant
Assisting with behaviour regulation and emotional support
Helping pupils access learning through adapted activities
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and SEN staff
Creating a calm and inclusive classroom environment
