We are currently recruiting on behalf of the Royal Borough of Kingston for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Mental Health Social Care Team (MHSCT) on a permanent basis. This is a specialist Adult Social Work role supporting adults whose primary needs relate to mental health, autism, or substance use, as well as young people transitioning into adulthood.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, supportive, and collaborative team based on the Tolworth Hospital site. Youll benefit from a hybrid working model, strong supervision structure, and professional developmentincluding the opportunity to train as an AMHP.

Key Requirements:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
  • Strong post-qualified experience in a statutory adult social care setting
  • Sound knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, and Mental Health Act
  • Experience managing complex cases and safeguarding concerns
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
  • Ability to work effectively across multi-disciplinary teams and partnership agencies
