We are hiring an experienced Administrator to join our client within the Sutton Coldfield area. The successful candidate will hold a clear Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one this is due to our client being based within the Education sector.

Job responsibilities (not limited too) :

  • Prepare agendas in consultation with the Chair and Principal/CEO.
  • Prepare/ book meetings in a timely and organised manner.
  • Maintaining and updating statutory records.
  • Ensure the school website meets all statutory requirements set by the Department for Education (DfE) and Ofsted.
  • Provide clerking support for Local Governing Bodies (LGBs) and trust board meetings.
  • Prepare and circulate agendas, papers, and minutes in line with statutory timelines.
  • Attend meetings (virtually or in person) to record accurate and professional minutes.
  • Track actions from meetings and follow up with relevant stakeholders
  • Act as a point of contact between governors, trustees, and school leaders.
  • Schedule meetings and manage calendars for the governance team.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders (e.g. Ofsted, auditors) when required.
  • Any other adhoc duties when required

Person specification:

  • Strong administration skills.
  • A clear in date Enhanced DBS.
  • Familiar with computer systems.
  • Experience working within the educational sector
