Our prestigious golf club, nestled in the heart of the Midlands, is seeking a dynamic and creative Head Chef to take our culinary experience to the next level. This is a unique chance to make your mark and truly own the direction of our kitchen.

The Role:
As Head Chef, you will be the culinary driving force of our club. You will have the autonomy to design and implement your own innovative and high-quality menus, working closely with the Front of House Manager to ensure a seamless and exceptional dining experience for our members and guests. You will lead and inspire our dedicated kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and implementing creative and seasonal menus that exceed expectations.
* Leading, mentoring, and motivating the kitchen team to consistently deliver exceptional standards.
* Managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
* Maintaining a consistent positive gross profit margin through effective cost control and purchasing.
* Ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene and safety, working towards and maintaining a 5-star rating.
* Collaborating effectively with the Front of House Manager to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For:

* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-quality establishment.
* A genuine passion for food and a creative flair for menu development.
* Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
* Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
* A solid understanding of cost control and achieving profit margins.
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
