- We are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 student with ADHD and ASD on a 1:1 basis.
- The role requires a caring individual who can help keep the child on task and provide sensory support during the hours of 8:30am to 12:40pm, Monday to Friday, starting September 2025.
- Candidates should have a Level 3+ Teaching Assistant Qualification and recent primary school experience within the last three years, preferably within Key Stage 2.
- The position offers a salary of £100 bonus after completing 10 days of work, along with additional benefits such as holiday pay and flexible work opportunities.
- Aspire People is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and candidates must undergo appropriate Child Protection screening.
This child has ADHD and ASD, so requires somebody who can keep him on task, provide regular brain breaks, and support him with sensory circuits.
The suitable candidate will have a caring, supportive nature and the ability to quickly build strong relationships with pupils.
This role is 8:30am - 12:40pm Monday-Friday starting from September 2025, on an ongoing basis.
Previous experience within Key Stage 2 is preferred but not essential.
Skills and experience required for our teaching assistant jobs:
* Level 3+ Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ/CACHE preferable)
* An enthusiastic, well-motivated and talented classroom practitioner
* Excellent working knowledge of the Primary curriculum
* Recent primary school experience within the last 3 years
* Right to Work in the UK
* Clear Enhanced Child Workforce on the Update Service (if you do not have this, we will
require you to apply for a new DBS)
* Able to provide at least 2 references to cover a minimum of 2 years
* Strong EYFS and SEND knowledge
