HR Advisor
Location: Sutton Coldfield 
Hours: On-site 5 days a week - 40 hours
Role Purpose:
This role provides comprehensive, hands-on HR generalist support within a fast-paced operational environment. The HR Advisor will assist in implementing local HR strategies aligned with broader business objectives, supporting both day-to-day HR functions and strategic initiatives. 
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for indirect roles, ensuring timely and effective hiring.
- Lead onboarding and induction processes for new employees, ensuring accurate documentation and system updates.
- Handle general HR administration including time & attendance, holiday tracking, contract amendments, and absence monitoring.
- Oversee the transition from temporary to permanent employment, ensuring standards of attendance, performance, and conduct are met.
- Coordinate training activities in line with site training plans, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Support the implementation of HR initiatives, including group-wide projects and employee engagement programs.
- Compile and report HR metrics within required deadlines.
- Participate in business and HR development projects.
- Maintain and update time & attendance systems.
- Assist with apprenticeship programs, including recruitment and coordination.
- Provide support for employee relations matters, including investigations and absence reviews.
- Organize site-wide employee engagement events and activities.
- Offer administrative support to the site's senior leadership team.

- 4-5 years of relevant HR experience.
- Proven ability to manage a varied and demanding workload.
- Strong coaching skills to support line managers.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee data.
- Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in a manufacturing or similar operational environment.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of HR's strategic impact.
- Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in reporting and metrics.
- High-level Excel skills.
