Our client, a well-established leader in the logistics market, is recruiting a Line Leader on a Temporary to Permanent basis at their Minworth depot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage production lines and labour to meet planned volume and commercial targets, ensuring QA and safety standards are maintained.
- Motivate and lead a team to consistently meet production goals.
- Ensure the final product meets client specifications.
- Maximise production efficiency to meet hourly and daily targets.
- Utilise the integrated management system effectively.
- Report health and safety issues promptly.
- Maintain and promote company health, safety, and quality standards.
- Complete all paperwork and systems accurately in line with company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external hygienic audits.
- Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and maintain clean-as-you-go standards.
- Liaise with agency controllers, providing feedback on agency workers.
- Attend team leader meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and develop new starters, acting as a role model for best practice.
- Monitor, control, and minimise waste.
- Conduct return-to-work and disciplinary interviews as required.
- Participate in the company appraisal system.
- Drive personal development through training and work experience.
- Undertake additional duties reasonably within the scope of the role.
