Our client, a well-established leader in the logistics market, is recruiting a Line Leader on a Temporary to Permanent basis at their Minworth depot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage production lines and labour to meet planned volume and commercial targets, ensuring QA and safety standards are maintained.
  • Motivate and lead a team to consistently meet production goals.
  • Ensure the final product meets client specifications.
  • Maximise production efficiency to meet hourly and daily targets.
  • Utilise the integrated management system effectively.
  • Report health and safety issues promptly.
  • Maintain and promote company health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Complete all paperwork and systems accurately in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external hygienic audits.
  • Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and maintain clean-as-you-go standards.
  • Liaise with agency controllers, providing feedback on agency workers.
  • Attend team leader meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Train and develop new starters, acting as a role model for best practice.
  • Monitor, control, and minimise waste.
  • Conduct return-to-work and disciplinary interviews as required.
  • Participate in the company appraisal system.
  • Drive personal development through training and work experience.
  • Undertake additional duties reasonably within the scope of the role.
