We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Sutton Coldfield. You'll be maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment, including manual lathes and milling machines, ensuring production runs smoothly in our established, old-school engineering environment.

The Role:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on workshop machinery
  • Fault-finding and repairing mechanical issues on lathes, milling machines, Hydraulics and Pneumatic systems.
  • Assisting with continuous improvement and reliability projects
  • Learning and developing electrical skills to broaden your expertise

About You:

  • Time-served/qualified in Mechanical Engineering (apprenticeship or equivalent)
  • Strong background in mechanical maintenance
  • Experience with lathes and milling machines is highly desirable
  • Willingness to learn and develop electrical skills
  • A problem-solver with a proactive, can-do attitude
