Think Accountancy & Finance is working with a well-established accountancy firm in Sutton Coldfield looking for an account senior to add to their team.

The firm are a niche form embracing modern technology to improve the way they work. They have a good tech stack already but are looking to utilise and trial all AI they can enabling their consultants to focus and the more glamorous advisory side of accounting. The firm will give you exposure to all the tax work needed on a client, accounts and management reporting.

The firm have some flexibility with one day a week working from home, and flexi time with the office open from 8am-6pm. They also finish Friday at 3:30pm meaning you only work a 35-hour week.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

  • Tax Compliance: Assist with tax planning and preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns. Ensure tax filings comply with current regulations and deadlines.

  • Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients. Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing them with strategic advice and financial guidance.

  • Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Prepare and present reports for management and clients.

  • ACCA/ACA would be beneficial but qualified by experience candidates will be considered.
