- Location: 4 days a week on site in Sutton Coldfield, with 1 day working from home or at the head office in Birmingham for planning.
- Cohort: You’ll support a group of 6 learners.
- Role Split: A mix of job coaching and tutoring.
- Helping them understand and perform job tasks.
- Liaising with employers around reasonable adjustments.
- Developing key work-based skills like communication and time management.
- Embedded functional skills in Maths and English.
- Work-readiness content tailored to feedback from job coaching.
- A Level 5 teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, DTLLS etc.) and a passion for supporting SEN learners in real-life settings.
- Or a Level 3 teaching qualification (e.g. AET Level 3 / PTLLS) with solid teaching experience, ideally involving functional skills. After 6 months, the charity will fund your Level 5 qualification.
