An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join a growing manufacturing business in a pivotal leadership role. As part of the senior management team, you’ll play a key role in strategic decision-making by delivering insightful financial reporting and analysis.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys producing and analysing accounts rather than simply overseeing the process. You will also manage a small finance team and contribute to the development of robust financial controls.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead month-end and year-end processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Monitor job costing, work-in-progress, and margin performance
  • Prepare detailed management accounts, including variance analysis
  • Oversee planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
  • Maintain and improve internal financial controls and procedures

About you:

  • Fully qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Ideally experienced within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Confident business partner, able to communicate effectively with operational and commercial teams
