Assembly Operative required for our client based in Huthwaite, NG17

Assembly Operative Benefits:

  • Static shifts available on Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 4pm & Friday 07:30am - 3pm
  • Total: 39 hours per week paid weekly
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Pay Rates: £13.23 per hour
  • Contract: Temporary to Permanent
  • Location: Huthwaite, Sutton in Ashfield, NG17

Assembly Operative Duties:

  • Building and assembling panel doors and mirrored doors for Wardrobes
  • Working on a bench area
  • Using hand tools
  • Quality checking of materials and finished products
  • Packing and taping items
  • Working with wood, panels and mirrors
  • Following instructions
  • Manual handling large items
  • General Housekeeping
  • Working on your own and as part of a team
  • Minimum daily requirements (production targets)
  • There is potential for this role to progress into a charge-hand in the future

Assembly Operative Criteria:

  • Previous assembly/manufacturing experience - preferred but not essential
  • Hard working, reliable and punctual
  • Experience of operating and using hand tools
  • Experience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills

**Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling as part of the day to day duties**
