Job Title: English Teacher / English Lead                                                                                                                                

Location: Sutton in Ashfield / Mansfield

Start Date:  Immediate

Salary: £168 - £232 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a fantastic SEMH school based in the Sutton in Ashfield / Mansfield area, Nottinghamshire. 

The school is looking to take on a English Teacher on a long-term, full-time basis, covering 5 days per week starting December 2025. The successful applicant will be working from Functional Skill up to Key Stage 3, including exam preparation for GCSE’s. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results in the subject, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS with English specialism (If you do not hold a QTS but have relevant subject experience within SEMH/SEND you will also be considered)
• Experience teaching English up to Key Stage 3
• Excellent classroom management
