Audit Senior – Top 50 Firm | Sutton | Hybrid + Flexible Working | Career Progression

TPF Recruitment is working on an exciting opportunity with a dynamic and ambitious Top 50 accountancy practice based in Sutton. This firm has a fantastic reputation for delivering expert services to entrepreneurial businesses and private clients across Central and Southern England. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Audit Senior to join their thriving audit team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys working on a varied portfolio of clients and is looking to develop within a forward-thinking practice offering flexibility, hybrid working, and genuine progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a range of complex audit assignments across various sectors

  • Prepare audit files, contribute to planning, and conduct fieldwork

  • Supervise and support junior audit staff, including reviewing their work

  • Manage audit assignments from planning to completion within budget and deadlines

  • Review statutory accounts and corporation tax computations

  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to build strong working relationships

  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement

  • Use industry software such as Xero, Sage, CaseWare and CCH for reporting and analysis

RequirementsWhat We're Looking For
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or finalist)

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in UK audit and ideally accounts within practice

  • Degree with a 2:1 or above preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • High level of attention to detail and time management

  • Confident using Excel and picking up new systems quickly

  • Proactive, self-motivated and team-oriented
