We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Field Services Manager to lead and manage fire damper remedial projects across multiple sites.

This role is crucial in ensuring that all installations and remedial works comply with fire safety regulations, including BS 9999 and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

As the Field Services Manager, you will oversee onsite teams, maintain high compliance and quality standards, and act as the key liaison between clients, senior management, and internal departments.

Your leadership will drive the successful delivery of fire damper testing, inspection, and replacement services.

Job Description:

  • Lead and coordinate fire damper remedial projects from planning to completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Ensure all remedial work is fully compliant with current fire safety standards and legislation.
  • Oversee the quality of testing, inspection, and replacement to maintain best-in-class standards.
  • Manage and motivate site-based teams, ensuring they have the right tools, skills, and support.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and performance.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and handling enquiries professionally.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and senior management to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Assess training needs and implement development plans to upskill team members.
  • Monitor performance and support continuous improvement across field operations.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of remedial work, including inspection reports and compliance documentation.
  • Provide clear, timely reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
