A local authority in Sutton is seeking a dedicated and proactive Customer Service Adviser to join their Customer Experience Contact Centre for a 6+ month contract. If you have experience in customer service and enjoy assisting residents with a wide range of enquiries, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:-
Handle a variety of resident enquiries via phone, email, and digital channels.

Manage complex calls and emails, ensuring professional, timely responses.

Provide information and support to residents on services such as Waste, Homelessness, and Highways.

Work with other departments to resolve issues and escalate when necessary.

Adhere to council policies and procedures to deliver high-quality service.

Contribute to improvements in the contact centre for better service delivery.

Experience in a Contact Centre or business administration.

Strong communication skills with the ability to handle high volumes of calls and emails.

Confident in using contact centre technology and digital platforms.

Ability to manage complex customer queries efficiently.

Flexible working options, including 1-2 days in the office after training.

Experience in a local authority environment or public sector.

Background in customer service roles with a focus on service delivery.
