A nationally leading student accommodation property company is recruiting for a professional Customer Service Associate to join their busy team based at their successful Sutton, Surrey site. This is a 12 month fixed term contract role with scope for progression.

You will be responsible for providing day to day customer service to numerous people such as residents, clients, building maintenance, etc. This includes:

  • Delivering all aspects of customer service, including front of house service, anticipating and exceeding resident expectations
  • Responding positively to customer queries and complaints
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships
  • Property operational duties such as promoting tenancy extensions, booking room viewings, H+S compliance activities
  • Administrative tasks such as logging requests, filing, database management
  • Basic finance duties such as chasing outstanding rent arrears, raising purchase orders

This is a busy and varied role whereby the successful candidate will possess the following experience:

  • Excellent customer service skills and proven experience in a customer facing role
  • Good level of general education
  • Proficient in MS Office package
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Culturally aware with the ability to adapt style and communication to suit stakeholder
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Numerical skills
  • Able to work well autonomously and within a team
