About the Drama Teacher Role:
We are seeking an exceptionalDrama Teacherto join our dedicatedDramadepartment. The successfulDrama Teacherwill have the opportunity to teachDramaacross Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for the performing arts.
What you'll do as a Drama Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and innovativeDramalessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students can explore their creativity and develop their passion forDrama.
- Teach a variety ofDramatechniques and performance styles, fostering students' understanding of theatre and performance.
- Direct and produce school productions andDramashowcases, providing opportunities for students to shine on stage.
- Assess and monitor student progress inDrama, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to the development of theDramacurriculum and departmental resources, ensuring that our teaching remains current and engaging.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards ofDramateaching.
What you'll need to be a successful Drama Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree inDramaor a related field.
- Experience teachingDramaat the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum forDrama.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- A passion forDramaand a commitment to inspiring students.
