We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Insurance professional to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while effectively administrating various medical insurance schemes for sports clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a background in processing medical insurance claims.
Day-to-day of the role:- Administer various sports medical insurance schemes; assessing against specific benefit limits, eligibility, and rules.
- Communicate effectively with members, providing advice, claim forms, and managing subsequent interactions.
- Perform accurate data input for invoice processing and conduct further investigations into treatments as necessary.
- Handle invoice queries, including identification of provider errors, advising providers, conducting bank checks and credits, and re-issuing invoices.
- Check membership criteria, claims, provider pricing, and scheme agreements, and communicate this information to clients.
- Manage payment runs, including checking and sending payments, identifying invoice queries, and producing relevant reports.
- Provide analysis on medical schemes as requested.
- Input membership data and produce membership reports for sports clubs.
- Direct, index, and distribute incoming invoices.
- Previous experience in a medical insurance field is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to empathise with members' treatment requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Analytical skills, including proficiency in using Excel spreadsheets.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
