About the Music Teacher Role:

What you'll do as a Music Teacher:

Deliver engaging and innovativeMusiclessons that cater to a range of learning styles and musical interests.
Create a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to express themselves musically.
Teach a variety of musical instruments and vocal techniques.
Lead and direct school choirs and instrumental ensembles.
Organised and participate in school concerts and musical productions.
Assess and monitor student progress inMusic, providing constructive feedback and support.
Contribute to the development of theMusiccurriculum and departmental resources.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards ofMusicteaching.

What you'll need to be a successful Music Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree inMusicor a related field.
Experience teachingMusicat the secondary level.
A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum forMusic.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion forMusicand a commitment to inspiring students.
