A well-regarded, 2-form entry mainstream primary school in Sutton is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis from September 2025.

This is a thriving and inclusive school rated 'Good' by Ofsted, with a strong community ethos and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning. With two classes per year group, staff benefit from shared planning, support, and collaboration. • Full class teacher responsibilities for a Year 5 class

• Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Working closely with the parallel Year 5 teacher for collaborative planning

• Maintaining strong classroom management and fostering a positive learning environment

• Monitoring pupil progress and implementing effective strategies for improvement

• Participating in the wider life of the school including parents' evenings, trips, and staff CPD

• Holds UK QTS and has experience teaching in KS2 (Year 5 desirable)

• Is a team player with strong communication skills

• Has excellent behaviour management and high expectations for pupils

• Is passionate about teaching and making a lasting impact on learners

• Is reflective, resilient, and committed to continuous professional development
