About the Art Teacher Role:

We are seeking an exceptionalArt Teacherto join our dedicatedArtdepartment. The successfulArt Teacherwill have the opportunity to teachArtacross Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for visual expression.

What you'll do as an Art Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and innovativeArtlessons that cater to a range of learning styles and artistic abilities.
• Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills.
• Teach a variety ofArttechniques and media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
• Encourage students to engage withArthistory and contemporary art practices.
• Organise and participate in school exhibitions and art events.
• Assess and monitor student progress inArt, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
• Contribute to the development of theArtcurriculum and departmental resources, ensuring that our teaching remains current and engaging.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards ofArtteaching.

What you'll need to be a successful Art Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree inArt, Fine Art, or a related field.
• Experience teachingArtat the secondary level.
• A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum forArt.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• A passion forArtand a commitment to inspiring students.
