Are you a methodical, enthusiastic individual with a passion for science?We are seeking a dedicated Science Technician to join our well-resourced and high-achieving Science Department at a welcoming secondary school in Sutton. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of dynamic and interactive science lessons.
�? Key Responsibilities:-
Prepare and set up equipment and materials for practical experiments in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

Support teachers during practical lessons to ensure safe and effective learning

Maintain and organise lab spaces, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Monitor and replenish stock, and safely manage chemicals and materials in line with COSHH standards

Assist with the care of living specimens and the maintenance of scientific apparatus

A strong interest in science (Science A-Levels or equivalent desirable)

Good organisational and time-management skills

Understanding of (or willingness to learn) laboratory safety procedures

A proactive and supportive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Previous experience as a technician is helpful but not essential - full training will be provide
