Sutton's Fostering Team is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Locum Social Worker to join us in delivering a high-quality service focused on assessing prospective foster carers and supporting the ongoing recruitment and retention of fostering households. Key Responsibilities: Undertake comprehensive Form F assessments of prospective foster carers, ensuring they meet national fostering standards. Collaborate closely with the Fostering Recruitment Team to help grow and strengthen Sutton's fostering provision. Support and guide applicants through the assessment and approval process. Contribute to recruitment campaigns, fostering information events, and engagement initiatives. Work in partnership with internal teams and external agencies to ensure positive outcomes for children. Requirements: Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration. Demonstrable experience in fostering assessments and recruitment. Strong knowledge of fostering legislation, guidance, and best practice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
