Academics is currently partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Sutton, seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

The school are looking for the ideal person to work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and behavioural challenges. Your support will play a vital role in promoting inclusive learning, encouraging independence, and fostering positive behaviour.

Role Details:

  • Location: Primary School, Sutton

  • Start Date: September

  • Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday

  • Salary: 95-110 per day (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored one-to-one support for a nursery child with SEN, such as Autism and ADHD

  • Encourage positive behaviour and inclusive learning strategies

  • Contribute to creating a supportive, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to track and support pupil progress

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a school setting

  • A committed SEN Teaching Assistant who is eager to make a real difference
