Are you a Project / Design manager or similar from a Construction background looking to take full ownership of the rapidly expanding Projects department within an award winning Construction Group that are offering a real pathway for progression as you grow the team across multiple sites?

An exciting opportunity to take a leadership role overseeing the performance and development of a busy and fast-paced Project Engineering team You will be responsible for managing a team across multiple sites ensuring team delivery and client satisfaction remain at the highest level. You will take the lead on tactical decisions, team coaching, and stepping into projects where strategic oversight or escalation is needed. This role offers a real opportunity for growth, as you grow the project department.

This is primarily an office-based role offering long-term progression into senior decision-making. It would suit someone from a Construction background who has overseen technical or commercial Project or Design teams and is now looking for a hands-on, leadership-focused role with excellent long-term prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a growing team of Project Engineers across multiple locations
  • Act as a senior point of escalation for project or client issues
  • Organise and chair team meetings and Management sessions
  • Coach and support Project Engineers to develop skills and meet deadlines
  • Monitor team performance, delivery, and client satisfaction
  • Conduct occasional site visits for relationship-building and oversight
  • Ensure commercial protections, reputation management, and client needs are balanced effectively


About You:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Solid background in Construction
  • Ability to work full-time in an office-based setting with flexibility for site travel
  • Comfortable stepping into projects when needed and making commercial or tactical decisions
  • A desire to grow within a reputable and expanding organisation
