Link3 Recruitment are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a number of local schools in the Swadlincote area. We support schools that require additional cover on a day-to-day, short-term, and long-term basis, providing flexible opportunities to suit a variety of schedules and experience levels.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and are adaptable to different classroom environments.
Job Details:
This Cover Supervisor role is highly flexible and can be full-time or part-time, starting on a temporary basis with the potential to progress to a permanent position.
We are looking for an eager and passionate Cover Supervisor who can inspire students, innovate in the classroom, and raise standards as well as attainment. A good sense of humour and the ability to communicate effectively with young people are essential.

To be successful in this Cover Supervisor position, you will:
- Have some understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
- Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
- Have a genuine passion for working with young people.
- Provide a safe and healthy learning environment, following all safeguarding procedures.
- Use innovative and resourceful classroom management techniques.
Requirements:
- All applicants must hold a valid Right to Work in the UK, which will be verified as part of our safeguarding and compliance process.
- DBS: All applicants must undergo an Enhanced DBS Check (Child Workforce) prior to starting work, unless already registered on the Update Service. The cost of a new DBS will be covered by the applicant.
- For roles below Cover Supervisor level, a minimum of GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) is required, and evidence of these qualifications must be provided.
