Linkster we are currently recruiting for a leading manufacturer located in the Swadlincote area. This company is dedicated to providing high-quality house building products and is now looking to add an experienced Production Supervisor to their team.
The role is primarily a day shift position, working from 06:00 to 14:00, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility to move to an 08:30 to 17:00 schedule as the business continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee a busy production operation and play a pivotal role in managing a team of manufacturing operatives.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Planning the daily labour effectively and absence management.
- Addressing efficiency challenges.
- Troubleshooting machinery issues.
- Ensuring production targets are met while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
Experience required:
- We are looking for candidates with a solid background in production planning, lean manufacturing principles, and machinery operations.
- Experience in a similar supervisory role within a manufacturing environment is essential, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting are also key attributes we seek.
Benefits:
- The salary for this position is £31,200 (or £16 per hour), with opportunities for overtime paid at rates of 1.33x, 1.5x, and 2.0x.
