Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee the electrical operations on an industrial fit-out project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing electrical installations on industrial sites, ensuring high safety standards, quality control, and efficient site management. This is a short-term position for 6 weeks, with potential for future work based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all electrical work on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and safety standards.
- Coordinate electrical installations, terminations, and testing of systems, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Manage and oversee a team of electrical tradespeople, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality control and that work is being completed on schedule.
- Review and monitor work progress, materials, and equipment to prevent delays.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure the electrical systems integrate seamlessly into the overall project.
- Maintain and enforce strict health and safety standards on-site, conducting risk assessments and toolbox talks as needed.
- Ensure that the work is completed in line with design drawings, project timelines, and budgets.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor, particularly within industrial fit-out or similar projects.
- Level 3 Electrical Qualification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Experience in managing teams on industrial, commercial, or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and industrial installations.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and risk management.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Current valid ECS/CSCS Card.
- First Aid at Work certification (preferred but not essential).
