I am looking for a Children Residential Support Worker to work in a lovely setting in Swanley. This is a full time permanent role and comes with a great salary, benefit sand amazing development opportunities.
You will be working for an amazing organisation who really value and support their staff, in a good Ofsted rated service. This is a dual role split between the residential and education setting, so your role will be varied as well as rewarding.
You will be supporting an experienced team, providing care and support to young people. The children have needs including emotional and challenging behaviours and so you will need to be resilient, patient and friendly. You will be able to set and stick to boundaries and help the social development of the young people. This is a challenging but extremely rewarding role and you will be making a huge difference to the young people you support.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent or willingness to complete.
- A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others.
- Be caring, compassionate, understanding and show patience.
- Experience of caring and supporting children and young people.
- Be a team player, flexible, honest and reliable.
- A driving licence would be beneficial.
