We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant to join a reputable and growing accountancy practice based in Swanley Village. This is a fantastic opportunity for an all-rounder with strong technical skills and at least 4+ years of experience in practice, looking to take the next step in their career.
Youll be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients and delivering a full suite of accounting servicesfrom bookkeeping to year-end accountswhile offering proactive client support.
Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
Production of management accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax computations
Client bookkeeping and reconciliation of control accounts
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Liaising directly with clients to provide advice and resolve queries
Ensuring all deadlines are met and work is carried out to a high standard
Keeping up to date with changes in accounting standards and tax regulations
Minimum of 4 years experience in a UK accountancy practice (essential)
ACCA/ACA part-qualified, finalist, or qualified (preferred but not essential)
Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and tax compliance
Confident in managing multiple client relationships
Proficient in accounting software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
