The Recruitment Co. is currently recruiting for Senior Field / Project Engineer (Fluid Monitoring Division) to join our clients growing team based in the Swansea area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, fast growing, reputable company.Contract: PermanentSalary: £40k plus overtime and overnight allowanceHours of work: Full time. Hours will vary week to week due to this position being based in Swansea but covering UK & Europe. Successful candidates will be compensated expenses, overnight allowances, company vehicle and so on. This is primarily a field-based position, with most of the work conducted on remote customer sites across the UK, away from the Swansea HQ. 80 % field 20 % office base currently due to on site project workload.Summary:Working as part of the FMS/FMP Division, the role supports both internal and external customers by delivering high levels of customer satisfaction through strong technical expertise and efficient execution of system installations and flushing procedures. The focus is on the precise installation, calibration, and fluid monitoring of a wide range of systemsResponsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-commission cleaning of closed-loop heating and chilled water systems
  • Carry out flushing in accordance with BSRIA BG29 and BG50 guidelines
  • Perform system chemical dosing, and treatment of process water systems
  • Pre Commissioning of systems to meet design specifications and regulatory standards
  • Monitor and take samples for Laboratory subsequent interpretation of quality results.
  • Review post-laboratory analysis results and recommend adjusted or additional treatment methods for the client. (In-house training will be provided; this responsibility will evolve as the role develops.)
  • Prepare and deliver detailed commissioning and flushing reports for clients.
  • Liaise with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate on-site activities
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out and chemicals used
  • Assist in system troubleshooting, resolving operational issues, and supporting project close-outDuties:
  • Site-based working experience, including in challenging or inhospitable environments
  • Physically fit and capable of undertaking hands-on field responsibilities
  • Exposure to project management processes (formal PM experience desirable but not essential)Professional & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong teamwork abilities with effective client and colleague collaboration
  • Capable of leading or supporting teams where needed
  • Solid problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
