We're working with a highly respected housing provider who are looking for an Asset Surveyor to join their team. This permanent position offers hybrid working, with travel across the Swansea area to carry out planned inspections.

This Asset Surveyor role is offering:

Key duties of the successful Asset Surveyor:
  • Carrying out a range of property condition inspections
  • Completing safety-related checks in line with relevant housing standards
  • Monitoring and reporting on building components and planned works
  • Assisting with preparation of technical documentation
  • Supporting the tendering and procurement process
  • Reviewing contractor performance and quality of completed works
  • Providing clear updates to residents and internal teams

Skills needed for the Surveyor position:
  • Strong IT abilities and confidence using inspection or data-capture software
  • Ability to prepare technical information with accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage varied workloads
  • A proactive approach to problem solving
  • Practical knowledge of buildings, components and safety requirements

Qualifications needed for the Surveyor role:
  • HNC (Level 4) in a construction-related discipline
