About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Energy and Sustainability Consultant to join our clients growing team in Swansea. This role offers a hybrid working pattern, with 3 days required in the office, providing a great balance between collaboration and flexible working.

You will play a key role in delivering energy assessments and sustainability consultancy projects, helping clients reduce their environmental impact and improve energy efficiency. Ideally, you will have experience in building physics, enabling you to provide in-depth analysis and recommendations for building performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed energy assessments, including SAP (Standard Assessment Procedure) and SBEM (Simplified Building Energy Model) calculations.
  • Deliver assessments such as EPCs, DEC, overheating risk analysis, and other relevant audits.
  • Provide sustainability consultancy services aligned with client goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyse building physics to advise on energy efficiency measures, building performance, and overheating mitigation.
  • Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for clients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable building solutions.
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry standards, technologies, and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in energy assessments and sustainability consultancy.
  • Proficiency in SAP and SBEM calculations.
  • Knowledge of building physics principles and overheating risk assessment.
  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage clients.
  • Relevant qualifications in energy, sustainability, or building sciences.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
