Vetro Recruitment is excited to be working with a highly specialised and supportive school in Swansea, seeking a dedicated and resilient SEBD Learning Support Assistant. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a crucial role in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, helping them to engage with their learning and thrive.
What You'll Be Doing:

Working closely with class teachers and support staff to provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups with SEBD.

Employing de-escalation techniques and proactive strategies to manage challenging behaviour effectively and maintain a calm, positive environment.

Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and understood.

Supporting pupils' social and emotional development, helping them build resilience and self-regulation skills.

Assisting with the preparation of resources and materials tailored to individual needs.

Providing valuable, detailed feedback on pupil progress and behaviour to the class teacher.
Who We're Looking For:

A candidate with a genuine passion for working with challenging children.

Someone with proven experience in managing complex behaviour in a school or similar setting.

An individual with exceptional patience, resilience, and a proactive approach.

A strong communicator with the ability to build rapport and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Experience in a PRU or ALN setting would be highly advantageous.
Details & Benefits:

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Pay Rate: 88.92 per day
