Residential Conveyancer

A well-established and highly regarded regional law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its growing Residential Property department in Swansea. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking and supportive legal team, known for its strong client service and positive working environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion. This includes (but is not limited to) sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and ideally new build and leasehold transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle your own caseload of residential conveyancing files with minimal supervision
  • Provide clear and professional communication to clients and third parties
  • Ensure transactions progress efficiently and within expected timescales
  • Contribute to departmental goals and service delivery standards
  • Participate in business development activities where required

Candidate Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing residential conveyancing files independently
  • Strong technical knowledge of the conveyancing process, including complex titles, leaseholds, and new builds (desirable)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A proactive and professional approach to client service and file management
