We are looking for a highly motivated Production Planner to join a market leading manufacturer in their respective field. An exciting opportunity for a skilled Production Planner to join a well-established company and Production team. As Production Planner, you will be tasked with the organisation and planning of the Production Department. This position will appeal to a strong candidate looking for their next challenging role within a secure and stable company.
Role Description -
- Develops the production plan taking into account: - sales forecasting of parent reels/finished product- Converting and customers' paper requirement - stock levels; pursuing the aims assigned to the plant in relation to required service level, warehouse balance and productive efficiency
- Interfaces with Procurement Specialist to check raw materials availability
- Discusses the production plan with the Production Manager, in order to assess its technical feasibility and to take corrective actions if necessary
- Approves the production plan
- Liaises with the Transport Office to solve any issue related to the goods shipments and transfers
- Manages critical events within the relevant area
- Collaborates with the local Marketing & Sales Dept to maximise service to parent reels and finished goods customers
- Guarantees the correct management of relevant processes in accordance with the Group's policies and procedures
- Promotes a safety-bound corporate culture
- Applies the Corporate Principles and Values
