This is a full-time maternity post for two terms and they would like to appoint an effective, enthusiastic, and motivated classroom practitioner who has experience of teaching Reception and Early Years. They are looking for a creative and forward-thinking teacher who expects and maintains the highest standards of pupil achievement. They will also be able to provide a creative learning environment and demonstrate strategies to actively engage and challenge all children

- demonstrate an excellent understanding of Early Years pedagogy
- place pupil health and wellbeing at the heart of their approach to teaching and learning
- have a good working understanding of Inquiry Based Learning and the passion to develop and lead practice within an Early Years setting
- be able to take a lead and develop areas of the school improvement plan alongside the SLT
- make a positive contribution to whole school life through extra- curricular activities
- demonstrate an understanding of assessment, progression and supporting pupils appropriately towards their next steps in learning.Â
