What You'll Be Doing
As Shift Manager, you'll lead a team of production operatives, ensuring smooth and efficient shift operations. You'll coordinate safety, quality, and output - while keeping costs and waste to a minimum.
Key Responsibilities
Lead shift operations across production, engineering, and quality
Manage workflow, resources, and equipment to hit output and quality targets
Communicate clearly with other Shift Managers to ensure seamless handovers
Prepare and present detailed shift reports for senior management
Champion a proactive health, safety, and environmental culture
Drive CI projects and promote a high-performance mindset across the team
What You'll Need
Proven experience in shift or production management within manufacturing
Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements
Demonstrable experience with lean or continuous improvement practices
What You'll Get
Salary: 46,100 + 2,300 shift allowance
Bonus: Up to 15%
Benefits: 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, 5% pension, and cash healthcare plan
