We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Adult Support Worker to join our team. This role involves supporting adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives.



Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities.
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household duties.
  • Develop and implement support plans in collaboration with individuals and their families.
  • Encourage and facilitate participation in social and recreational activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of support provided.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals we support.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and other professionals.


Requirements

  • Experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities is desirable.
  • Three 12-hour shifts per week.

You will need an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

  • Registration with Social Care Wales is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing needs.
