Team Support - Join Our Dynamic Utilities Team!

Are you an organised and enthusiastic individual looking to make a difference in the utilities sector? We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Support member to join our dedicated team in Swansea! If you possess excellent communication and administrative skills, we want to hear from you!

Start Date: November 2025

Location: Swansea - all onsite

Pay Rate: 20.00 per hour

Contract Duration: 6 months with potential for extension

Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday core hours 8am - 4pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construction & Maintenance Preparation: Assist in preparing construction, maintenance, and replacement work while coordinating team activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Fault Coordination: Play a crucial role in coordinating the team's response to network faults, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  • Customer Enquiries: Be the voice of our client by responding to customer enquiries both verbally and in writing, delivering exceptional service.
  • Work Programming Support: Help the Team Manager with work programming and scheduling to keep everything running efficiently.
  • Data Input: Support field teams by accurately inputting data into the relevant databases.
  • General Administration: Handle general administrative tasks such as answering calls, raising purchase orders, and using the Crown system to organise inquiries and direct them to the appropriate teams.
  • Team Assistance: Collaborate with and assist other team members whenever needed, fostering a supportive team environment.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to engage effectively with customers and team members, both verbally and in writing.
  • Organisational Skills: Reliability and the ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player: Comfort working as part of a small team and willingness to support others.
  • Initiative: A proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving.
  • Computer Literacy: Basic keyboard skills are desirable; full training will be provided on the applications used.
  • Welsh Language: Desirable but not essential
