My client, an independent, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Civil and Structural CAD Technician to join their experienced team of drainage and highways engineers, based near the lively city of Swansea, located on the beautiful Gower Peninsula.
Essential Criteria:
Demonstrable experience as a CAD Technician across the Civil and Structural engineering landscape, within a consultancy role, working on a range of residential, commercial, and industrial projects
- Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD, with experience of producing 2D and 3D designs
- Good knowledge of drafting standards within the industry
- Experience of drafting underground drainage, SuDS, and highways, with reference to the relevant Section Agreements, including S104, S38, and S278
- Experience of having worked with reinforced concrete and steelwork detailing
- Excellent working knowledge of various relevant software packages, including Revit, Navisworks, Walkinside, etc.
- Knowledge of the BIM process
- Demonstrable experience of using the Microsoft Office package
- Hold an HNC, HND, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field

- Implementing the relevant Quality Management Systems
