Robert Half are pleased to be recruiting a newly created Group Financial Accountant role on a permanent basis with a rapidly growing private equity backed organisation based in Swindon. We are seeking an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with 3+ years post qualified experience within industry who is seeking a new challenge where they can add value and be part of an exciting growth journey.
The role
The Group Financial Accountant will be pivotal in supporting with the implementation of processes and controls and will be heavily involved in the business's growth journey. With scope to progress into the Group Financial Controller role long term, this role would suit an ambitious individual who is seeking a value add role where they can truly develop. The role will involve but not be limited to:
- Consolidating group statutory accounts.
- IFRS reporting.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders including auditors.
- Key pillar in the acquisition of new entities.
- Tax compliance and VAT returns.
- Maintaining and implementing accounting controls and processes.
Profile
- ACA/ACCA qualified with 3+ years PQE.
- 2+ years experience within industry, audit training preferable but not essential.
- Solutions orientated with a keen eye for detail and a desire to improve processes.
- Excellent work ethic and drive.
Package
- £60,000-£70,000 base salary.
- Hybrid working 2 days onsite in Swindon, up to 3 days working from home.
