Robert Half are working in an exclusive partnership with a well-established, reputable organisation in Swindon to recruit a Management Accountant role on a full-time permanent basis. This is a brilliant role that will be heavily involved with producing monthly management accounts for a number of entities, review and improve processes and support the wider finance team with year-end tasks. The Management Accountant role will be suitable for somone that has proven management accounting experience that is qualified by experience or AAT/CIMA/ACCA part/fully qualified that is looking to add value and be a part of great company that is renowned for offering an excellent work culture. The salary is between £45,000 - £50,000 plus hybrid working and other excellent benefits.
The Role
The main duties of the Management Accountant role will consist of:
- Producing the monthly management accounts.
- Profit and loss analysis.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Accruals and prepayments.
- Fixed assets and depreciation.
- Processing journals.
- Preparing VAT returns.
- Intercompany reconciliations.
Requirements
To be considered for the Management Accountant role, you must ideally posses the following skills/experience:
- Must have management accounting experience.
- Qualified by experience or AAT/CIMA/ACCA part or fully qualified.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willing to take on a challenge.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Self starter.
- Adaptable.
- Confident user of Excel; pivot tables and lookups.
