About the Client

Our client is a leading national provider of two-person and one-person assisted "White Glove" home delivery servicesacross the UK. They are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Administrative Assistant to support operations at their busy Swindon distribution centre.

Job Overview

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in logistics or transport administration. You will play a key part in supporting dispatch operations and ensuring accurate and efficient administrative processes across the depot.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative support to the logistics and dispatch teams
  • Assist with coordinating parcel delivery and driver dispatch schedules
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of driver routes and delivery statuses
  • Prepare dispatch documentation including delivery notes and logs
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and management
  • Perform data entry, filing, and other general office duties
  • Support the Operations Manager and wider team with ad hoc admin tasks

Requirements

  • Experience in a logistics, warehouse, or transport admin role is essential
  • Strong understanding of parcel dispatch processes and driver scheduling
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and data systems
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
