About the Client
Our client is a leading national provider of two-person and one-person assisted "White Glove" home delivery servicesacross the UK. They are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Administrative Assistant to support operations at their busy Swindon distribution centre.
Job Overview
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in logistics or transport administration. You will play a key part in supporting dispatch operations and ensuring accurate and efficient administrative processes across the depot.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative support to the logistics and dispatch teams
- Assist with coordinating parcel delivery and driver dispatch schedules
- Maintain accurate logs and records of driver routes and delivery statuses
- Prepare dispatch documentation including delivery notes and logs
- Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and management
- Perform data entry, filing, and other general office duties
- Support the Operations Manager and wider team with ad hoc admin tasks
Requirements
- Experience in a logistics, warehouse, or transport admin role is essential
- Strong understanding of parcel dispatch processes and driver scheduling
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Good IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and data systems
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
